Alphanso Williams

Alphanso is the founder and CEO of Higher Level Consulting Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica. As a graduate, he explored both domestic and international graduate program options. He sucessfully applied and enrolled in an applied economics program in Canada, where he earned a Master of Science degree. Prior to pursuing higher level studies, he worked in the private and public sectors in his home country of Jamaica.

In his academic career, Alphanso worked as a research associate and published widely in the area of biofuels policy and trade. His work can be found in the Handbook on Agriculture, Biotechnology and Development, Journal of World Investment and Trade, African Journal of Biotechnology and Energy Politics.

Alphanso has served as an external examiner for a Msc. thesis oral defence.
